Hi guys, Im going to be getting a new bar to replace the alloy one on at the moment. Can you guys post up your pics of what different brands look like. I've seen plenty of ARB ones so there not really required, I cant find what the opposite lock bars look like fitted. TJM, havent seen any of them either. Any recomendations on which one to buy?

ARB as it will accept a 10,000 lb winch. Fitted a 80 up today and there was no way a 10,000 would fit on a TJm. had to downsize to a 9000 lb.

does it take much to squeeze lightforce 240xgt's into the arb bar?

I have a 12000lb winch in my tjm bar....

I think the tjm bars look alot better than the arb ones, and give uy a better approach angle

cheezy bar is $1k

trying decide to go for cheezy or tjm/arb myself. i have highmount and will have 2" body lift soon, don't think the tjm/arm made for body lifts (can modify i guess just rather bolt on deal)

yes it is a t15 I has one on my 80

cranky, do u have the winch cradle to fit the 12000pound, you can only fit a 9000 when u bolt it to the bar?

Umm i bolted mine straight into the bar.. fitted easy..

Yep, cheezy will manufacture his bars for body lift, it may take a little longer to come through the pipeline tho, as IIRC he shut down for a few months to get a stock pile of gear together to supply his suppliers and cope with demand for his gear...

When my mate was looking at bars bout 1.5years ago he asked cheezy about welding on some upper side bars to give front corner protection, he said for an extra $50, not a problem... however i have heard recently Cheezy is bringing out a 'touring' bar, with these side corner protection bars standard... maybe give him a buzz/pm if your interested.

hes got one out for the patrols, pics in nissan section. i'd go arb if you want off the shelf style they seem to be stronger.

Try Andrew at OnTrack in E/Keilor (03) 93316536. They make a good-looking and extremely strong bar for GQ's. I'm sure he'd make one for your cruiser if he doesn't already

I've just finished helping a mate take a Warn 10000 out of an ARB bar off an 80.
I've found the ARB bar to sacrifice approach angle compared to the original TJM Alloy bar I had. But the ARB gives far superior protection. I've punched reasonable sized roos on the wings of it at 110 and not left a mark.
