Outer Limits 4x4 Board

I have recently picked up a 2003 TJ wrangler and today noticed that one of the dash lights did not go out once the car was started. Having not got myself a manual of any description as yet can someone please fill me in on what this warning light indicates.

It's the one on the left hand side of the "check guages" light that looks like a lille engine - both generally light up for a few seconds upon starting the car then go out.

Check engine lamp needs to go into a repairerto run the scanner check the codes and diagnose the problem

in short you have a sensor not working as expected if you only just bought the car and it was through a yard take it back to them
