Do it yerself!!
Get a hairdryer or heatgun and run it over the decal (
carefully! ) until one end sticks up slightly. Then get some dental floss or light fishing line and drag it with both hands underneath the decal till it's off. You'll probly end up with goop (the stuff the decal got stuck on yer paint with!) on the paint afterwards - try soapy water first, and if that don't work then use something like Prepsol or rubbing alcohol to dissolve the goop.
Depending on how long the decal's been on there, you might have a slight diff in paint colour when you get shot of it...
Anyway, up to you...and don't blame me if you cook yer paintwork (either with the heat or the wrong type of solvent!!

You would be best off taking it to a smash repair shop to get them removed if you don't plan on repraying it. The reason being is they can tell you wheather the car has been painted before and the stripes may have been masked up. If this has been done you will have big hard lines down the side of the 4wd.
My guess is that if you did take the strips off on an MQ that the paint will be like new underneath and you wont have a hope in hell of getting the rest of the paint to look the same.
If you do deside to take them off and do it yourself all you need is a heat gun and some fingernails. The MQ patrols where painted in acyrlic so don't use tinners, petrol or turps on the paint to remove the glue. The only way to remove it is with wax & grease remover.
As for the paint code 006 is a colour called silver met that was painted on nissans from 1982 to 1994.
Cheers Mick.
