what brand are they? are you running a stock alternator? ive got 2x 130W IPFs and 2x 100 Narvas and unless the motor is reving 2000rpm+ my volts gauge slowly heads south. what are people doing to run all these spotties without having to rev the ring out of the car to keep the batt at a decent charge???
p.s They look tops

You must be running very close to your limit with the lights.
150 watts/12 vols = 12.5 amps
12.5 amps x 4 lights = 50 amps
Altenators often range from 65-85 amps.
A lot of the comp trucks run HID lights now to avoid the voltage drop.

you can fit a delta wound alternator for more current at the price of a higher kick in RPM....
Or just go and steal one off a 100 or 79 series- theyre 120amp alternators, get that delta wound, and adapt it in!
I'll probably go the 120amp alternator and adapter plate route when i exceed the abilities of my 2.8D's 70amp unit

my alternator has the vacuum pump on the back, i hear they are pretty $$$ to replace whats one worth for a 60? what was the output on a 12HT sahara???
