So you'd thought you'd just sucker someone else into doing your work for you. It'd be different if you were asking for a reputable business.

What sort of steel.
Van Leeuwen (try saying that one properly) Pipe and Steel Tubing, were at 127 Viking st Wacol, but they moved out to Redbank somewhere.
Have that stormwater pipe, I think thats it, it is a highcarbon content, which I was told is very brittle, but thats what my exo appears to be made out of, and its survived a few flops.

on the Gold Coast you could try Tubesales at Stapleton, or SV Steel Supplies at Molendinar.
The rest of you guys are just kiljoys

you don't even live up here so why pay the dude out?

He's allowed to use OL as a tool for infomation from people in the area who have had positive experiences with steel suppliers. Isn't that the whole point of the thing????
do a search ppffftt!

But if theres thread after thread of these not so hard questions it can get very annoying and time consuming, when all you had to do was spend 30 seconds doing a search then if you didnt find anything then ask saves your time and ours.

If the question was for a reputable dealer it would be a different story. The question was for a cheap steel supplier, this info can be found out by asking for quotes, not by asking on here. I'm up in Townsville and I could find out that info just by making a couple of calls.
