I can't help with diagrams, but if you post up the inputs you want to trick, you might get some tips.

Cheers,

cannot be done without a computer tune or fault codes will show. unless you use the entire commodore dash, bcm and computer and all components you will need a tune. I just cut the auto wires etc and taped them up. the auto is controlled by the factory computer. the factory one is far more powerful than a motec etc so it is easy with the right knowledge

so we dont have to trick it to think its in park to get it to run correctly or anything like that

and what do u do about the speed sensor?

mine would not fire without correct fuel pressure from memory. i can't remember if it sparked or not. I would make it think its in park if you have not had a tune. you will need a tune they have anti theft and will not run without the correct bcm!

cheers bru, just rang him n said bout the tune. he said "oh yeah someone told me bout that, but i didnt think itd be true" .......... he not very electricaly minded

where did u get this tune done and how much did it cost?
also do you have a copy of the diagrams u used to wire yours?

Is there a difference if the computer is from a manual or auto? I have a computer here, supposedly from manual, that I won't be using. If I put my motor in Patrol (undecided as yet) it will be straight gas with gas carby onto edelbrock manifold- no electricals to fiddle with at all! (or pollution junk)

the computers are the same except the auto ones have the auto controls copied onto them - much like a hard drive and cand be modified or deleted. it is better if you have a computer with dskw on the side (under the black plastic holder) I exchanged mine for one of these and thus allows a full tune.you can reprogram any computer to remove the need for bcm or matching auto etc, even delete fault codes like low coolant etc. I got mine done by mark at brendale - powertorque engines. go to ls1edit.com.au mine was $1100. should get it done for $450 now days. ring capa and ask if you buy a computer programmer if it allows you to to do it ($900 odd)

any holden dealer has the wiring diagram - except they have no colours so its a one wire at a time thing. my first set caught fire as they were next to the exhaust ports and got fueled at startup. I laminated my second set and have lost them - i really looked too as i needed them to wire the thermos a month back.

cheers bru
