PWR radiator

I`m gonna get a bigger radiator to my modified GQ with RD28T engine.
This model is not listed in PWR`s pricelist, so just wonder if a TD42 radiator will fit my truck.
Anyone had experience with them, good or bad??

Just email them and they'll more than likely make one up for you for around the same price. Just make sure that you ask for 3mm wall thickness. I had 1.6mm wall and it has bowed in the sides and the seem for the bottom tank blew apart as well as cracks in the lower mounts

PWR make custom gear for alot of purposes (not least of all, some of the top V8 supercar teams!). They can make you a radiator, might be pricey if it's too special, but definately quality.

Got email from them, AU$1400 with freight included. On the stock rad , the upper pipe is on the right side and the lower pipe is on the left side.
Filler cap is on the left. (GQ RD28T)
It may be different on the european models as we, according to you guys are sitting on the wrong side
Would be great if anyone had a pic of a PWR rad, or stock rad. to TD 42.

PM Awill4x4 he makes alloy radiators, and intercoolers with PWR cores..
he is the guru on this shit.. there have been photos of his and their work on here before.

I don't have a pic of my radiator but it is 900mm wide by 550mm high. It has 2 lugs on the bottom and top for mounting and has the top radiator on the right and bottom on the left. This is the cab chassis radiator and not the wagon radiator which is deeper and I think it isn't as wide either. I don' t have the dimensions of the wagon radiator though. You hear of people swapping it for a cab chassis one so it doesn't hang down between the chassis rails. Hope this helps a bit Per.

Yep 4.2tds are interchangable with the rd28t All the same bolt up so if its for a 4.2td then it will go straight in. I gather your 2.8 rad is an alloy core with plastic tanks?

Got some pics from PWR today and gone order one
Nope, the stocker is copper core with tanks made of brass, or how you spell it.
It should have been good I guess, but it is not, even in an unmodified truck.
