just wondering if the above actually works any good? ie. disconnecting rear airlocker, locking one side, and driving the other 3 wheels.
my pos has a pretty crap turnin circle, so lookin at ways to reduce it

they have these amazing thing called bolts. ya might of seen em before on that green thing of yours
....what ya do is, get a spanner, undo them, and ya can take ya diff centre out.....amazin hey
then, if ya do the same to the front, you can swap them over, and re-tighten those bolts i was talkin bout earlier, or even swap the gears inside the diff, onto the airlocker....but thats more bolts ya have to undo

I found very little difference with having rear cutting brakes. I wouldn't bother

Junior did one very impressive turn on the weekend in his mog diffed zook, down hill with loose $hit everywhere it still turned quite sharp, definatly wouldn't have made the turn without braking the inside rear.
I also find it very handy for reversing, rather than digging the front & risking the R&P I lock up the inside rear with the locker off and it turns quite a bit sharper.

i was right becide you when juniour done it and we were both quite shocked how sharp it turned
i also seen you using it on b2 and it also worked quite well then
maybe beebee dont like it because he is so long?

so might be worth a shot i guess. wont work for turnin uphill though...but the cuttin brakes themselves are fark all anyway to buy, so i'll prob give it a go

It's still difficult to turn a bus regardless of how many levers you have

mine works brilliantly sometimes, and sometimes doesn't work any better than no brakes at all. doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it either.

i may be asking a silly question here but ill ask it anyway, is the $119.00 just for the levers or does it come with cables aswell??

just for the levers.. and they arent cable operated.. they run a brake line 'in' from the master cylinder.. and 'out' which goes to the brake of choice either both rears.. or left and right...
Obviously you'll have to buy brake lines and a kit to cut and fit them

Thanks TOM, i will have to look into it before i spend my hard earned. I have the handbrake on the rear diff (diff is from GU 4.8), they are drum brakes as part of the disc setup (if that makes sense). they are cable actuated, can this be changed easily to operate on hydrolic and would that then inturn degrade the braking ability of the vehicle (master cylinder upgrade??)

The cutting brake levers dont rely on using the handbrake at all.. they rely on using the existing brake lines to the rear callipers
hope that makes sense...
