Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Thinking of parting mine as seperately all parts are fine but paint work etc is too rough and the aftermarket turbo has shat itself.

So what would people pay for parts on an LN106?

2.8 diesel
Gearbox and transfer
Diffs
interior
body panels
33" tyres on alloys

I am not sure wheather the $$$ will will come anywhere near what I can sell it for either???

Come on, what have some of you payed for these items? I have bought diffs and motors etc but that was a few years ago.

Looks like a good rig [if thats it in the photo ]
Might be easy to sell as a whole unless the chassis is rusted out etc...
You could end up with a vehicle half stripped.

What sort of dollars for the whole lot?

As a guide i paid from the wreckers/ from trading post i paid
$1250 for box and transfer
$220 for 4.3 :1 open centre

Chassis isn't rusted or anything mate.

When I try to sell it people freak about the busted turbo on it and the lack of rego, bit wierd me thinks. Chassis is shortened a bit too, only 7".


Roctoy, your lux had alot more bits than mine does.


Both diffs have lsd(toyota lsd means shit to all the knowledgable people)
Turbo set-up means shit when the turbo is farked(oldman gets the set-up and new t03 now)
Engine is Gut's old one, should get me 2k(or very near) hopefully, only has about 10thou since him and still serviced more than it should be.
Gearbox and transfer are still running like god(toyota) intended


Dunno so much about the stripping so far, it seem either way I will be around 5.5 with the stripping or I would be happy to sell the whole thing for 7k.

Too much work to strip it for less $$$ than it's worth really.

Thanks for the PM's peoples, maybe keep them up and I may well strip it but seems I won't get the dollars its worth by stripping it.

A couple of members have PM'd me about parts and putting dibs on them if I were to part it.

Moderators, I do understand this isn't the for sale section and we don't support auctioning so I will uphold my end of the bargain if you let my thread slide.

If people are interested in parts please PM with a rough price with what your willing to pay(don't post offers in the thread), I won't make it an auction system or anything, first in best dressed and if I don't agree with the $$$ value I will negotiate with the member asking for a part.

I do need to see if it is viable to part my lux out, as said by someone else I could end up with half a hilux and bugger all cash if I don't play my cards right
