Where do you usually steal the oil for the turbo on a TD42 ?

Most kits take oil from the feed to the vacuum pump pump on the back of the alternator. You can install a t-piece there and get a hose made to suit. If the car is a later model with the vacuum pump over near the fuel pump, there is a plug in the block where the oil is normally sourced for the vacuum pump (sort of up the front of the block and below the exhaust manifold. It is some weird fitting into the block (tapered), but most hydraulic places should be able to sort you out.
There were a couple of similar threads a week or two back.

Heymate, i have fitted a DTS turbo to my truck and they give you a drawing of were to spike the hole just above the oil line in your sump. Then tap it out to 1/2 BSP tread and seal it with epoxy glue. If you use the drain off the back of the alt it hasn't got enough flow .

Thanks for that nalucas ...
It is our plan to let it drain directly into the sump ...

You will need plenty of oil pressure for the turbo the sdandard turbo taps into one of the small plugs under the exhaust manifold at the cam galleries in the side of the block.
