LR Disco2.
Loads of articulation, traction control, split climate, the right size, axles front and rear, good turbo diesel engine, comfy, excellent security system.
Comfy, strong and go anywhere (almost)

I got asked something similar to this the other day - "what would you own if you didn't own your sierra" and the only car i could come up with was the Bruiser Chassis from Poison Spyder Customs... But i guess that's a bit much of a dream isn't it...
I'd like a flatty for around town duties

RAV4 or any soccer mum car.
reason: because there are quite a few hotties that drive them. dang talk about yummy mummy.
on a more serious note I would have to say an ST Coil Cab Patrol Ute. Why? Because they are tough and I like em, thats why.

I gotta say I lurve my 99 GU wagon.. I love driving it .. I just hate feeding it .. I have caned the crap outa it, and no matter what I am yet to really damage it (apart from cosmetic stuff likre a few bits of trim) but it's just so easy to drive .. sure it handles like a wet sponge .. but its very predictable .. would love a 4.8 with the Turbo system the arabs run .. 300 or so KW .. mmmm 2 tonne burnouts
It would be even better with a bit of a lift and some 35's and lockers etc ...

Wrangler Rubicon, don't have to justify spending extra for mods to the wife and the insurance companies would accept it as a standard vehicle. Makes life easy, wish all manufacturers would offer something already built, well OK maybe a few mods might still be needed

From reading the latest Peterson's mag where two representatives from Warn (i think) drove a Rubicon through the entire ulitimate adventure with the only mods being 35" tyres, a suspension lift, and a winch - I would have to agree that the Rubicon certainly appears to come close to a complete package.
I don't expect that we will ever see any over here in Oz though

Yeah, when I spoke to a guy from Jeep I was told they were having some ADR issues. I heard there was a problem with the flares not covering the rubber but they could always put on the flares from the Tomb Raider version

Have you seen the tomb raider version? I reckon it looks terrible - and not very similar to the setup they used in the movie either...
I was under the impression that they would never be bringing the Rubicon to Oz based upon the fact that they are making a very limited number of the cars... I wasn't aware that they were even trying - so I'm a bit surprised that they have started encountering ADR problems...

I think you might be in the wrong forum here marshy... Some of us here would probably put the 45 series cruiser in the same category as the kia
