I have a little bit of a queery for the jeep experts, i have a 96 jeep cherokee, with a 4 inch lift and 31 claws. Whenever i climb approx 20degree incline and up, i get an intermittent thump which sounds like it comes from the front passenger side of the car, it doesnt do it with the rotation of the tyres, its just now and then, im curious what it is. Any ideas?

Yeah, I agree that it might be worn bushes. If you're gonna change 'em, I reckon it's best to do both sides at the same time.

I had a similar noise on the weekend, found it was the shock sliding on the bar pin due to a worn rubber, grab the bottom half of the shock and see if you can move it around, It took a while to find the noise as it only did it occasionly

Check left hand engine mount. You"ll need to get under the truck to see the mount and look for broken rubber internals.I had thumping noise when at a angle and the engine was torqeing itself clockwise. The shop said they sell a lot of left hand side ones
