Tyre choice

Trying to decide which tyre best suits my needs, i have a swb Mav that is only used for trips away. I want a 35inch size tyre that is capable of getting me to Fraser aswell as trips to cruiser park. I really like the simex's but think they may be to rough and will wear quick driving to fraser (i visit fraser alot thanks to my G/F's house over there!!) my choice so far has come down to Extreme trekkers, Creepy's, Xterrains and mickey t's.

Any thoughts would be great!!

cheers

I've been very happy with my Xterrains on Fraser, and I go there a bit :D

They have been very good everywhere else as well, including cruiser park. They hold well on side hills too which suprised me.

Mine are 315x75x16's.

I also have a set of ET's in 35x10.5x15 in the shed, I don't bother putting them on anymore.

I am looking at the 35'' tyres for the same sort of driving. Don't want anything that will wear too quick on road, but still have good offroad ability.
They are for a 83 hilux with v6, dual cases, t700 dual cab. Was gunna check out MTR's. Any suggestions on tyres would be great :)

cheers

I put STTs on just before I went to Fraser. For 10 days we ran all over the island at 20 psi, didn't get bogged once. But we had a fair bit of rain too, so that undoubtedly helped.

Cheers,

Scott

They worked great on sand, I ran at about 16psi and had no probs whatsoever.
