sounds like you've got a shed load of work to do there Pure...

Perhaps some sort of spray on bed liner would be better than marine carpet - just from the point of view that you could 'hose' or scrub it out after a trip rather than always trying to keep the carpet relatively clean...

I'm looking forward to seeing the roll cage too...

Sounds like it's going to be damn tall though... spring over, 35's and a 2" body lift? You are going to be approximately 9.5" over stock in height (assuming your springs are pretty much flat)... If you are keeping the spring over perhaps not running the body lift would be better?

I'm thinking it means Body Lift, or Lowering the spring mounts 2" (i.e. a sub-chassis)...

Still gonna be tall, tall and tall.

he mentions chassis spacers AND body lift so thats 4" plus spring over 4.5" plus 35s which is say another 2 -3 " so your looking at 10.5-11.5" over stock. Hope you are making it way wider too

wheel spacers are also mentioned... I'm thinking the full 2" variety may be required...

Working on the rule of thumb (as per JP magazine theory), 1.5" wider for every 1" higher...

The car is going to want to be 13.5" wider than stock - minimum... If you want the stability to be the same as it was in stock form...

2 inch body lift and 2 inch chassis "drop". i.e...spacing the area between the chassis and the spring mounts, she runs std leaves front and rear and yes they're flat, as for the width theory, for now 2 inch whhel spacers plus different offset and then in the near future some GQ diffs. The LWB helps a touch

just wondering, are you using the ex falcon Air Con unit for OBA?

what year model, and do you need to make brakets for it?

If you are going to be running diffs of a nissan - i'd reckon you could run a bigger tyre than you are planning...

Check out MickBJ42's sierra with the Hilux diffs - he is running a 37" bogger with just a spring over and close to flat springs... I reckon you may be selling your idea a bit short here - perhaps something more like a 39 would be better - goodness knows you are going to have the room to squeeze it in with the body and chassis so far above the axels...

The only consideration would be headlights and firewalls - but if you are running the car so high - you could easily control up-travel (stuff) with sensible use of bumpstops...

Check out LWB Joe from Pirate (who is also on here somewhere) - there are some shots of his car running what i think you are going to be looking at doing and i'm pretty sure his tyres are mucho biggero than 35's...

I'll have a hunt for some pics...

It all comes down to dollars in the end. I can justify spending around 3000 dollars for the above mentioned mods, but i cant then double that cost to purchase a set of 37" or 38.5" tyres. Ill do the mods listed for now, hopefully finished within 3 weeks and see what happens from there as for the LWB on pirate that thing looks great! Its huge, has he now swapped to coils or is it just my eyes?
