coil overs

im looken a doing a coil conversion on me v8 singlecab hilux.
im after any info about putting coil overs in the front end with a GQ/GU front diff. the truck is going to used in winch events and all terra style comps.
any info will be good.
id like to speak to some about.
any pics would rad to.

we are putting gq diffs and 12" travel Fox coil overs under a 04 TJ jeep at the moment.
Neil Cooper has used strut brackets on ridepro shocks and 79 series coils to make his own coil overs for his hilux, cheap, and obviously works, 3rd in the OBC.

Are they really 79 series coils? they look too small in diameter. but i'm no expert!!

hell yeah more info on that set up would be great. would save spending a grand a corner.

1st and 2nd place in this years outback challenge were won on king coil over shocks ,l can help you out with these .my number is 0417395295

That was when Neil ran dual rate coils but know just runs an off the shelf 79 Coil.

You may, for comp work, want to check what you use has a hyd bump stop in built, saving the cost and room, and weight of adding them seperately, especially in the front.
