air shock and speed

hi all, just wondering what would be the maximum speed you can drive on air shox? and are they legal to drive on the road?

i would like to know this to will they handle a speed event such as a winch challenge or even at speed on the road

search on pirate would be ya best bet. not many people in aus running them on the road here.
mine and a mates cars both have them, but haven't really been setup properly yet, and havent done that many km's on the road. but they're fairly floaty from what i've seen
Air Shocks

Generally I would not recommend using air shocks in any high shaft speed applications. Unless of course you can fit a remote reservoir. The problem is that as an emulsion shock, the damping characteristics of the shock have already been compromised
The ride will also tend to be rather floaty as that is the nature of air shocks and the progressiveness of the spring rate.
