hi guys my air lockers in the 80 series arnt working compressor just keeps running and diffs arnt locking .ive heard that they blow seals pretty regularly ive also got diff oil comming up into the compressor deos this mean the seals are gone if so are the sels in the diff or in the compressor and are they hard to replace. ive lready got the axles/cvs out to replace them so im thinking it would be better to fix the lot all at once if i have to pull the centre out . can anyone confirm this for me thanks alot wayne

search! there is a ton of good air locker resources on here if you search.
click on the search link and search for "air locker leak" and you should get about 30 - 40 hits, about 20 of which will be helpful to you.
now the most common cause of the problem you describe is problems with the air lines between the compressor and the locker. find out if there air is coming out of the axle breathers - if it is, the problem is in the lockers and they will have to come out. if its not, then the leak is in the compressor or air lines, so get busy with some soapy water and fid the leaks.

turns out it was the airline inside the diff housing it had been hitting the crownwheel and ground a hole in the metal line. just need to have a new bit put in. cheers wayne
