Gas is for higher compression and static timing, more torque and horsepower i hear you say
but you gotta build the motor to suit and run straight gas

We run our buggy on straight gas. Dyno tuned it and it runs far, far better than on petrol. Heaps better response, shit loads more torque. I mould say it has more power too.
Everything was supplied through Gas Research Australia. I could not recommend it highly enough.

this is tru i think gas has an octane of about 120+ i am runnign straight gas at the moment on my v6. timing adavanced higher compression drives heaps betetr than on petrol. the main difference i found was the throtle was alot more usable and makes it a hell of alot better offroad without injection
