The dashpod ( bit with the guages ) and the radio pod are easily removed leaving a clear area from one side of the car to the other.

Making ya own would be easy as once the original stuff is out of the way.

I've sen a VH commodore dash fitted to a 84 model MQ and it was a sweet look too. The guy used the drivers side part of the VH dash across to where it drops down onto the passengers side, he utilised the original guages from the commodore aswell and the aircon ducts were removed for the radio.

The engine sensors were converted to holden ones so the correct current and therefore guage reading was as it should be. The Nissan senders gave a false readout when attatched to the holden guages.

Hell of alot of work but if ya have the time .........

Oh I forgot to add .............

it was a SLE woodgrain dash and had a tacho, volt meter, fuel guage, temp guage, and oil pressure guage as std.

I know the speedo worked but as to what he did there ( cable wise ), I'm not sure.... form memory it read 10kph faster than actual speed (IE: speedo showed 100kph but actual speed was only 90kph )
