Rangie lifter issues

G'day, This is my first post/question. I have been having a perv at the site for a while and I have been impressed by the quality of posts. I am lucky enough to have 2 rangies One is a '77 2 door (fairly standard) and the other is my '85 daily driver, which is the reason for my enquiry as it is getting a bit rattly and deciding by itself where and when it will run on 8 cylinders! All dependant on how hot it is usually. There that being said.............
My questions are, Do the cam and lifters have to be replaced at the same time or can the lifters be replaced by themselves? Would I be wasting my money by replacing lifters without the cam? Hopefully someone has some experience they might share. Thirdly, Who sells reasonably priced Range rover bits?
The engine in question is a standard 3.5
Thanks in advance
