Hey guys,
i'm thinking of adding a leaf on the front leaf spring of my Rocky coz i find the front look nose heavy.
So while doing that i was wondering have anyone relocated the front axle forward?
Is it the same thing like on the lux by drilling spring perches hole forward by an inch?
What sort of work is involved with our Rocky's?
Sorry i'm not familiar with DIY.
Cheers.

yeh basically same deal with redrilling perches as well.
i think u can also buy axle relocators but dunno enough about them.
also if u think about it because your car is spring under if u pull the right
leaves it will decrease the distance between the u bolt and the axle
raising the car a flyshiet

Huh i dont get it?
I thought if u add a leaf it will help to lift the front abit more at the expense of flex.
So i should just go ahead and redrill the spring perches?

hes saying that by taking out a leaf it will "lower" your axle the same distance as the height of the spring.
come on mull... just coz u got coils

All i want is abit more lift up front.
So that i can clear the fenders better.
B4 i get fedup and get the grinder.

why not fit a lifted load spring off a hilux or something similar, just adding one arched spring may be enough

That's what i'm thinking.
But was thinking of adding 1 of the main leaf springs from the original rear Rocky leaf and mix it with the Ultimate Suspension leafs that's on the car.
See how it goes.

just get extended shackles if you cant get any to suit shop round you may find that a shackle off a bigger truck may do the job or go see a engineer a good one should be able to make one easy enough
