just out of curiosity, after reading the story on the haultech built buggy, rear engine setup, because of the engine placement the diffs are run backwards, (rear at front and front at rear) and inverted,

can you run something like this as an SAS setup??? inverted flipped whatevered paj rear diff in the front?

im probably not thinking ab out it properly, and more thinking out loud, and theres prob a really good reason why you cant, but i just wasnt sure on the shaft revolution direction, and also pinion placement, cant think of at the moment and dont have the car for the moment, but if the rear was low pinion and then run backwards and inverted kinda, then itd be high pinion...no?

just throwing round ideas :) make yourself free to write it off or comment

I don't know about direction of shaft rotation, but using the Paj transfer case requires the diff to be on the passenger's side of the vehicle - not the middle. Then you need to put steering swivels on the diff, so I think it quickly becomes easier to use a foreign diff - like one from a Bundera.

Cheers,

Scott
