Or GU manual to Gq manual

Should be easy each way

I had a look at the two and the input shafts are different so maybe
they have to be swaped which is a bit of a pain .

may just be able to use a gu clutch

The 2.8 Gu has a dual mass flywheel

So for any one who cares the gu manual 2.8 gear box is
not the same as the gq 2.8 gear box, close but no cigar.

2.8 gu box to 2.8 gq has any one done this swap
