To anyone who has rebuilt their suzuki gearboxes... I am just about finished and I just was wondering....

1. Whether the 'bush' which the driveshaft slips into is replaceable.... I can see scoring marks in the bush...

2. The bolts in the gearbox, I wasnt sure how to torque them down.... has anyone got any idea of the torques to put the gearbox back together?

Please help.... I really wanted to get this gearbox back in before the rego runs out.....

Thanks muchly

think the bush installs from the inside of the extension housing, otherwise just find another s\h extension housing from a suzuki wreckers if your worried.

A bit of soreing is ok if it's lite.... have you slipped your indemeiate shaft into the extension housing and seen how much end float the bush accually has??

as for the bolts just start from the centre and work your way out with tensioning the bolts, as for torque it's not super important but if your really worried then it's approxmatily 20 - 30 ft\lbs
