Wire is the go.
Or any other type of flare but flexy flares..
The big felxyflares do it, nothing you can do about it.

flexi flares are crap, even with the wire in em, i found mine still folded in and the wire constantly kept working its way out. i got the sh#ts and ripped mine off. im currently thinking about replacing them with lawn edge or maybe aluminium checker plate

I found the wire works its way out and catches on your clotes all the time.
I think the secret is to use different wire and have it foled over at the ends like a bulb. Harder to work its way out then.

i got a small bit of flat thin alloy the length of the flare and have screwed it into the end of the flare and it supports it well and stops the sagging.

I put the wire in then put a screw in each end of the flare to stop the wire working its way out. I pulled up on the flare as I put the screw in so it holds its shape well. I also put a piece of aluminium plate at each end to hold the bottom corners out.

the reason the edges fold in is because you have put to much tension in the flare at the bend. Also its because you have screws in the middle of the bend aswell
when you are curving the flare on the vehicle to screw it in, relax the flare a little and never put screws in the bend . just how far away from the bend you put the screws on either side is somethin you can experiment with.
