does any body know whether the early gqs are the same body as the mk and mqs as a bloke at the wreckers is trying to sell me a cab off a gq leaf sprung type sayin that they are the same im lookin for a ute cab to replace my shorty any body know with 1 i am interested

after mk finished wagons and swb in 1987 they still used the mk shape in the utes for a few years (not sure how many) I don't think they called them gq's though.

the MQ/MK utes had no "bulge" behind the seats, the first GQ utes had a "bulge" below the window and the later GQ utes had the "bulge" from the floor to the top of the window, if that helps

cheers yeah that helps all i needf to kno is are they approximatly the same mounting points and would i need to get a paqnnel beater or ho to chop and rejoin two halves of a cab?
