Hi,
I get this annoying squealing noise from within the clutch/flywheel area. It only happens when the car is warm (i.e., only after about 20mins of driving). It happens only sometimes and not all the time. It only happens when the clutch is in... the noise seems to synchronise with the speed of the car/flywheel.... as soon as I slightly tap the clutch, the noise is gone...

any ideas?

shes and old HJ61 89 4.0TD.

thx!

sounds like a worn out thrust bearing [on the clutch fork ] or even the spigot bearing in the flywheel

how old is the clutch or do u do any deep water crossings?
