This might be a good place to start - the title says GU, but I believe that the GQ/GU are the same.

I just fitted some to my GU tonight - 12.5mm - I snapped a couple of pics which you might help give you a bit of an idea how they'd go on your GQ:

arm without spacer

with spacers (flash didn't go off doh!)

10-12mm spacers seem common, depends how much you need to move the arm.

I think there about $60, but got them with a whole heap of bushes so not 100% sure.
I got mine from Ontrack in East Keilor. Pretty sure cheezyracing still do them also ProComp would have them. And if they dont they would get them for you.
Smithies Outback acc would also have them.

dimensions would be great so i can machine some up, and why do they use the two bushes instead of a single one

IS THAT WHAT THEY CHARGE $60 FOR?

wouldn't a couple of 16mm washers do the trick? Or a steel bush with a 16mm hole in it?

washers probably wouldn't be crash hot especially for the thread end but some bushes made from suitable material with the right holes would probably do the trick, sure

There's two bushes because one pushes the arm forwards and the other slides over the threaded part the same length to protect it. I'll make some up soon too. One thing I've noticed is you first fit the washer, then rubber, then bush. I think it would be easier to make a smaller bush that goes on first, then assemble as normal, but still with the smaller one over the thread, if you know what I mean by the difference. Might run up a batch if anyone interested. Powder coated or zinc anyone? Actually, could do some in aly and anodize!

x2, don't care about material used really. so long as it's cheap and doesn't rust or break

Pardon my ignorance, but what does the thing you've put the spacers on actually do, and what advantage is there to putting spacers on them?

the radius arms go from your chassis to the front diff. The spacers often stop your tyres from rubbing on the back of the guards on full lock by moving the diff forward a few mm
