Lead config with gas is + to torch - to earth.
Have you got some scrap steel the same thickness?
Just set the amps at about half power and throw some weld on some scap and adjust the wire speed till you get a nice crisp crackling sound and a decent looking bead of weld.
If wire is too fast it will push back on torch and/or leave a big ugly high weld.
If it is too slow it will burnback and not lay a decent weld.

Once turned on turn the nob next to the led display and the first setting is your wire speed alternatively look in the wire feed door and a list of setting features and such should be in there on the back of the door! Hope this helps

turn the knob to number 4. Turn the dial near the led display to approx 20(the wire speed automaticlly comes on when u turn it). Earth is in far right as u stand in front of it, or the one next to it. the cable that comes out the front, plug back into next to itself. that should get u started
