Hi Guys I'm just about to fit the turbo and manifold to my TB42 Carby 1988 and I'm just interested where others have tapped in for Oil Feed and Oil return?

return just goes into your sump
oil feed, you could run a t-piece from your oil pressure sender, but that's a long way for oil to go to feed your turbo..
I'm not sure if there's any extra fittings on your block for a oil feed (like the diesel blocks have for the pump on the back of the alternator)

There is a blockoff near the back of the motor just under the ex manifold that is a oil feed.
cheers

$5000 cause you will need to efi and run a computer for the petrol. Run straight gas makes it alot cheaper $2000.

I have often wondered if it is practical to have it turbo'd on gas, but not have the turbo working when it's running on petrol, ie it's turbo'd nearly all the time, but on those rare occasions when I can only run it on petrol.... you get the idea.
For $5k, I'd rather put it toward an engine swap. For $2k, a turbo is sounding appealing.
