80 series stalling

I went down yawal yesterday & while driving down any steep hill my 80 would stall its a petrol auto on duel fuel & dose it on both gas & petrol but runs & idles fine when level its a real pain in the a$$ :x dose any one know what couses this its never done this before

I wonder if it's an oil level issue. Some engines have a cutout if it does not have oil pressue, therefore on a steep hill may cause it as it may not be picking up the oil, only a guess. Mine has been on a real steep downhill for a period of time and the light cam e on, but that's about it. Doing it on both means I can't see it being fuel issue.

possibly I know the diesel motors have a low oil press cut off but not shoure about the petrol motors & year I don't think its anything to do with the fuel I'll have to check the oil level dose any one know it the petrol 80's have a oil press cut off? :?

my mates 80 series does it heaps but it's a multivalve diesel.

Found the problem it was the flexable pipe was split that go's between the air flow meter & manafold was sucking unmetered air and making it stall.

Tell your mate that a pusher pump will fix his problem...ie an electric pump that pumps diesel
up to and through the filter and then to the pump itself)
