4WD club?

Yeah yeah I know do a search
.
Fact is if everyone done a search then we wouldn't have much to discuss
.
I'm looking @ joining a club that has a bit to do with the comp scene & was thinking maybe Yarra Valley or On Track 4wd cub would be the way to go
. Thing is, I live in Hoppers Crossing so it's bit of a hike for me though I guess it's not too bad heading out that way for a drive once a month
.
Can anyone who's in either of these clubs give me a quick run down on how often trips are held, hard/medium/touring? what areas you drive, etc, etc......
I've been to a couple of club meetings over this way but it's more family outtings in Pajero's sort of driving (not that there's anything wrong with that
). I'd be more than happy to make the drive to meetings if it's the right club for me
.
Cheers
Joe
