Hi guys, anyone have the right part number for a 4BD1T exhaust manifold - I am trying to do a turbo conversion on a 4BD1 here in canada.
I thought there were only 2 manifolds (IHI and garett), but the ISUZU dealers here tell me there are 4 different ones.
Also, if anyone has the model number of the turbos that mate to the manifold that would be great!!!

Hi ben
I have access to the centre outlet manifold to take a Garret TB25 water cooled unit I am running on my RR.
Let me know if you want me to ship you one.

Thanks Justin - can you PM me a price, with and without cost of shipping to Abbotsford Canada (Near Vancouver).
I suspect it will cost more than going through ISUZU in Canada, but you never know (their prices are prety high). I may still get the manifold for my truck though...
Do you have the PN?

The manifold I have was a top mount IHI. The neck was cut, flipped and rewelded to hold the turbo underneath.
The IHI bolt pattern fits nothing (well I have slotted the holes in a T25 to make that fit) so I'm looking for other options.
Option A is the later Garrett manifold that was used on the 4BD2. Does a turbo bolted to one of these clear the bonnet on a rangie?
I've managed to buy a 4BD2 turbo from a guy who cracked the head and parted the motor. But he hasn't been able to find the manifold.
What other options are there? Any aftermarket for reasonable coin?

Something new to add to this.
I have acquired a 4BD2T manifold. It is exactly the same part that Andrewe used here:
http://carl.outerlimits4x4.com/viewtopi ... tercool%2A
Fits a T3 turbo at an upward angle, approx 45 deg.
The turbo used in the 4BD2 was a T25 (no wastegate) with a T3 flange.

Do you have an Isuzu price?
I paid $200 plus freight and GST from a wrecker for one that looks like it came out of the ocean.
Already been sand blasted and had the inlet flanges machined flat, but that's showed up a crack that I'll have to fix.
Should have bought a new one.

Yes we have - this is becoming like all the "how can I get a 6" lift and 35's approved in QLD threads"
