Considerind intercooling my 4.2 Turbo Gu with the standard 2.8 Underbonnet intercooler with the scoop.
Is it worth doing or should i use the water to air type like the Denco?
i am getting the typical Turbo upgrade tommorrow. ie Exhuast , boost controller , pump tune.
just looking into my next options.

From what I've found out so far is so long as its not restrictive, anycooling is better than non, so long as it's a decent built cooler

as far as air/air or water/air goes it depends a lot on type of use of the vechile and $$$$. water/air is better when driving slow but costs more.

by not not
the old 2.8t intercooler is the same one used on the newer 4.2tds

Get sandy at aus4wd and get a proper front mount fitted very reasonable in pricing and should you want to go larger turbo down the track at least you have a sufficient intercooler to cope with it.
