there is a delay in steering action on my patrol when turning left. turning right seems to be fine, but left is about 1/8th a turn before any action.
i checked everything i know to check, steering fluid is fine, draglink is fine and straight. Brand new steering damner. Tie rod has a very very very small bend in it, i dont think enough to cause this but im not a steering guru.
any ideas..........apart from that it drove great

(first long trip it has done, no offroad yet)

we had something like this happen on the 40 after ateco, for us it was the bolts holding the steering box onto the chassis rail had come wayyyyy loose.

Mick you probably have the steering dampner mounted incorrectly as in needs to be opened up or closed more mate. Play around with that and it should fix it mate.
