Installing an efi engine into the zook....

Am using a vitara tank just want to know what others have done with the fuel lines. Replace metal lines complete or just use efi fuel hose either end of the orginal metal fuel lines on the sierra?

I just used the metal lines with EFI fuel hose either end. Might not be technically correct but it worked.

i ran new lines, and fitted the external pump, above the chassis, main reasons for it , is i knew it was new, and more fuel up that way the better, put it in a protective surround.

If somthing ever breaks then it is easy to get to pump or change fuel lines and was simple.

Make sure you are sitting down when you buy the EFI hose though  It adds up quick. I have asked for it by the metre and the guys at enzed just look at you a bit strange and say that people usually buy it by the cm :D

The stock sierra hard lines are fine.

looks like I will reuse the hard lines....

I will also make up a hard line from the tank to the end of the old fuel line. I will probably use a ZL Fairlane efi fuel filter at this junctions and two small piece's of efi line to join the lines and the filter. Then I only need a small piece from the end of the fuel line to the engine connection.....

All in all should only need about 30cm to 40cm all up.

Also have a couple spare parts cars lieing around so will see if I can salvage from there before I go out and buy new if needed cause hose is in need of replacement......
