depends how technical you want to get,

i only needed three wires to wire up my mpi jimny motor, but i kept the full loom and dont have dash warning lights. all i did was found what colour the wires i needed were(acc, ign, etc) and then hooked them up from existing wires in the standard loom.
My Loom was uncut when it was removed from the car which was a bonus.

if u have a cut loom it can be easy-hard. depends how it was cut.
I wired mine from scratch, read very hard, pay someone else to do it unless u have an interest in auto elec.
