Hi,

Is there anyone in Brisbane that owns a Grand Vitara?
If so I would like to offer a few hundred bucks to anyone who
could take their GV to Haultech engineering 20min south of Brisbane
to get some measurements done as they are making me a Traction Control kit.
The car would be needed for a full day I assume, so they can make the brackets to mount sensors etc. and save me having to do it when i get the kit as i'm in Perth.
Better still, if anyone is thinking of getting TC on their GV you should look into it as its an awesome product thats almost as good as twin lockers but less than the price of one fitted by ARB!

Yeah thanks Greg,
actually I tried there first but the forum seems to have died down recently
with a few regulars having left I think.

No drilling, not even on my car I hope.

They will have to pull wheels off, not sure if anything else.

Basically if you are interested I would get you to call them
and have them explain to you what they need to do to see
if you're happy with it.

I looked up where you are on whereis.com and it says you are a
25min drive away (they are in Logan Village).

Thanks for replying.

No thanks, hard enough to fit all the gear with a baby and dog in a GV.

Haultech seem to do mainly truck air-con setups,
sorry if I offended your local knowledge. ;)

certainly no offence taken matey. haultech advertise their truck stuff, but on this forum theyre most well known for their buggies and engineering of other 4wds. i

talked to haultech and i've got no problem with leaving my car with them for u, they said that they WON'T drill any holes or remove anything important but they need my car for minum of 3 days so if you cover the cost of a cheap hire car than it's no sweat mate.... i'll send you a PM with my details and my phone number so we can discuss it further ok mate
