Hi,
I've got an 85 sierra SWB and was wondering about what size tyres i could fit on it?
I've already fitted 2" longer Shackles, which gave about 1" lift.
Also, if i were to buy lifted springs (2" springs , total of 3" lift?) what other stuff would i need to buy? i.e longer shockies, longer brake lines etc.
if i did get the lifted springs rougly what size tyre would fit then?
Thank you

Im New... Please Help
I had a 1 and a half inch lift and was running 30's(have sence gone to 3") and they just used to rub in the rear wheel arch so 29's should be fine. I'm going back down to 29's because with the 30's there was no low range. So stay at 29's untill you can get some rock hoppers. Thats what i'm doing.
Built swb sierra, building a lwb sierra ute and have a dmax for family camping
As you will learn, either by research via the bible (link at top of page, well worth reading) or by experience. Once you increase your wheel diameter anything over 30", you need to start looking at reduction gears (search rockhopper or Calmini in the bible) otherwise you will wear out clutches quick and lack the ability to tackle tougher obstacles slowly.
