Would like to upgrade rear drums to discs on 98 TJ

As the subject title describes.....

Any advice much apreciated :D

Have looked at the conversion that still keeps the E brake as Drum :cry: Not happy with that solution....

Plus are there any possibilities of using a tranny disc E brake :?:

The axle is a Dana 44

This sight might help you get started. However its for an XJ. I have this conversion on my XJ (D35 axle) and works well. May need to search the net more for further info (try the US sites) or improvise for the TJ.

i might be completely off, but i think they use explorer parts in the US.

GoJeeps latest conversion was on a D44 after he swapped out the D35, I thik there's details on his site.

High Angle Drivelines do an "e-brake" kit as an option for their SYE

I have discs in the rear of my 97 wrangler. They are eb falcon callipers, which are bolted on using a Kaos 4x4 adaptor plate. Works fine as...
