Just want some input as to the perfomance of each type of the Simex tyres

1. Jungle Trekker

2. Extreme Trekker

Both look like nice and aggressive tyres, around the same price, so really just lookinf for feed back before I make my final choice

Cheers

Close but I think the JTs aren't quite as good as the ETs. I'd say ...

1. Very good to exellent.

2. Awsome.

I am looking at these for purely off-road use, so I want a tyre that performs well in nearly any situation, they will be removed from the car when not in use off road, so road wear is not an issue really, off road performance is the key.

In the same size i'd say ET's are better in the mud. If your looking for rock peformance look elsewhere. ET's seem a little better on the road (though i'm comparing my 11.5" JT's to my brothers 9.5" ET's) when it comes to tramlining under brakes. My car may also have alignment issues

One semi-important difference is that the ET's are directional (i.e. spare will only fit one side) where the JT's arn't. I'll let you decide if that matters.

The 11.5JT2 I think is also a lot better than the 10.5JT2, especially for rock traction. My pref is the JT2 over the ET, but then again all of the comp lads run the ET.

just wondering how the JT'2 would wear on the road faster than Maxxis Mudzillas?

i have run 34x11.5 JT2's and 36x12.5 et2's both great offroad et2's probaly are a bit better in my opinion and i found my jt2's wore out mutch quicker because of the 2 center lugs where my et2's were heaps better onroad and a bit quieter. the 3 lug center made a big difference.
