i have been using 'bendix 4wd' pads for the last 50,000km and found them very good. they are probably half worn at the minute, but i will have to replace them as one of my pistons in the front caliper has siezed and worn one edge of the pad down low. they have very good bite and im happy with the wear. the original pads(OE) lasted about 70k.
price per set for my nl about $65.
hope this helps.

Bendix are good, especially for the front.
Bendix rears seem to wear out real fast on the old NJ Paj. Think the pads are just too small for the vehicle.
Have just bought some cheapies off ebay to see how they go.......kevlar and all that....could be interesting but seeing as how fast the Bendix wear, can't be that risky.
I always keep worn one just in case one goes slanted on the rear (very often). Spend 4 hours today dismantling and regreasing all the slides on the rear. Front was fine as usual.

My Bendix rears only lasted about 25,000km and they were down to the metal. And the fronts have done about 50,000 but i'm not sure what brand they are. I put Ferodo 4x4 pads in the back this time lets hope they last a bit longer.
