I have a GU wagon and when i turn right i have a noise coming from front left wheel. It seems ok going straight but some noise under braking. the noise is as if there is a stone in the tread, but theres not. cheeked to see if wheel bearing loose but ok.

Sounds like a CV joint.

It has to be Brake brads steel on steel (or caliper rubbing) or wheel bearings. Not much else to cause it.

If it's done a few kays, fit new wheel bearings anyway, and check pad condition.

was it a squeaking noise? Was the noise intermitten? and what and you ask the mechanic to look for?

it was a noise like a stone in the tread. the disc is a bit out of round and hits the caliper or pushes the pads back or something like that. getting fixed Friday.
