Does anyone know if a 5 speed and transfer that has been behind a 3B engine will bolt up to the back of a 2F?? I'm wondering if they might be different splines??

you have to change input shaft and bellhousing but yes it will i changed my 3b to suit a 1hz

bolt pattern is identicle but spline is different and the input shaft is about 100mm longer on the BJ box compared to the FJ/HJ so unfortunately you can't get away with just changing the clutch plate to a fine spline. It's a full rebuild with the 6 cyl input shaft.

I'm looking for a 5sp for my Bj42 if you aren't keen to do the mod.
