Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hi guys,

just chasing a bit of help here ...
Anyone done this, and got any advice on the easiest / best place to put them ?

my 60 had them when i bought it. There were three of them and they were all bolted into the floor of the cargo area. The previous owner had simply drilled a whole through the floor and then bolted them in

I did the same to mine, just make sure you us the large washer and bolt supplied with the anchor point (designed for the stresses involved), and the spacer so that he anchor point clears the carpet (if you have carpet). Also take note of the angle the strap will be at to make sure it is in the car seats spec's.

sorry to rain on everybody,s parade but drilling holes and using washers is not aprovable or very intelligant
unless a vehicle was manufactured with adr approved mounts the only way to mount baby seats is with what is called a crab bar
any other way is illegal and frankly just plain dangerous
(end rant now)

found two -left and right in the back of the seat and the center one i anchor via the base of the cargo barrier. kids plus neighbour = room in a sixty

I think you will find the rule have change re seat baby seat mount from when a sixty was manafactured.

The mounting point is actually in the rear of the seat there are 2 plastic tabs that are removable and the bolt for the bracket goes in there

The seat beeing used today (by there manafactures spec) are not suitable for this style of mounting.
