how can you bring the front diff forward an inch

Can you bring the front diff forward an inch if you re drill the spring purch holes forward.

There are issues to contend with such as steering and the torque rod. If you move the diff either forward or backward you need to either modify or change these.

If you have push pull steering, you will need to keep the torque rod (just shorten it), this will help keep your front driveshaft from separating, until you go with a longer shaft, or put in a spacer.

I made an adjustable torque rod with some 16mm threaded rod from Bunnings, with a cyclone rod joining nut as the threaded section. Also made up a spacer from some 110mm round machine rod from Capral.

yes u can but if u drill the new holes 1" forward from the existing holes it will move ya diff back so u need 2 drill them 1" behind the existing hole and also u will have 2 deal with the above mentioned probs
