I have put a surf one in mine. I am going to Bundaberg for the weekend but will get you some pics next week. It fits nice and gives enough room to run a dual battery system if you wanted to.

talking to friends they have suggested just using a POD filter and removing the old airbox all together. anyone else done this and any other info will help.

Works fine if you keep your truck dry.

Second that, mate ran one on his old Lux and it was fine but it never saw any water. Have to keep an eye on them too because they foam can degrade and tear; end up in your engine.

he glued a piece over the cone insert end so the only rain that would get in would be hitting it side on and really unless its absolutely poring not alot would get in and it would actually clean the engine a bit if nothing else, not really much diff them a normal snorkel really

Hey Luxyboy,
Thanks for those pics.
One Q, where does it pickup the air from... is it on the underside between the guard and the airbox itself??
Cheers

Otherside of the box is an inlet; i am going to get a custom snorkel put onto it. You could use standard piping if you don't want a snorkel though.

No i don't but i think they are all the same.
You can tell what you need by looking at them and it should be under $50 from a wreckers.
