Coolant Inlet Pipe Replacement + Fitting

Anyone had to replace the water pipe (under inlet manifold) lately?
What did you pay for a replacement and where did you get it?
SuziWest is the cheapest I have found so far...
They are $$$ for something so simple wondering if anyone has gotten a good deal on one...

tommrow I'm going to be looking for water pipe's let ya know what i find
I might have to get toatally differant pipes now though because of the big alternator i just put in

well i brought the tubes for the bottom pipe
rear half of it cost me about 17
then i brought the front half out of a nissian pular turbo .... 36
all parts brought at my local cheapa auto spares

Umm I meant the metal pipe that attaches to the block.
I should have said that a bit better

i think one stop can get them for about 40 bucks .. cant remeber fully

For anyones future reference:
Genuine = $115 to $139
One Stop Suzi Shop = $35 (arranged to get this and the one they were going to sell me was stuffed so they didnt bother...only found that out by ringing to see how the order was going the next day)
SuziSport = $50 (Should arrive tomorrow)
For something that looks like it belongs on a steam engine

ok long story short SuziSport couldnt deliver so I got a genuine part...
Has anyone put these in and added some form of sealant around the pipe and o-ring? Already had one o-ring fail as they are pretty loose for something that should create a water tight seal. Any hints would be appreciated.

Or maybe, just maybe , the people that have done this havent read this thread yet. Considering you are not paying for any of the info on this site, whinging about not gettting a response is not the best way to get others to help you with their info. Mechanics charge bout $90 an hour labour, so free info here looks pretty good in that light.

Edit. Yeah permatex works good with gaskets. Is it deffinatley the right o-ring???

try permatex, aviation sealent, thats what i use for o rings sealent

What free info Layto? No one replied...
Sure I was whinging but hey, it is frustrating to see 100+ replies to some of the other topics on here, some which arent even close to being tech related...and I was hoping someone had some hints or tips they could share.
Anyway
For anyone doing it...make sure you use a new genuine part and o-ring and as Cruzer! said some form of sealent. I used Silastic Gasket sealer (normally used on water pumps etc). Coat the o-ring on the pipe liberally as some will work its way back out of the hole on the block. The sealant also helps to hold the o-ring in place. I then smeared the pipe with more silastic around the pipe where it meets with the hole. Be wary of the o-ring moving or sliding back when you insert it as the casting inside the block can be rough and push it out of its seating. I learnt this the first time only after doing it up and pouring in the coolant, which preceded to leak out of the hole. It pinched against the pipe and block and I had to replace the o-ring. Let your sealant cure for a while and you should be right. I don't have pic's but hopefully there is some useful tech info for anyone changing their inlet pipe.
