hi,

i have finally purchased a winch. my problem is i have a tjm alloy bar and have raised it with the body lift, now im thinking that because of the body lift the cradle that the winch sits in wont match up to the bar as it mounts to the chassi ?. is this right ? ive tried doing a search witch usually answers all my q's but this time , nothing.
i rang tjm but they didnt know how it mounted and didnt have a paj cradle in stock.
has anyone faced this problem b4 and what did they do?

cheers,
RoaR

p.s. i dont have the cradle yet and have to order one in from Qlnd but that will take a week

When I did the body lift, I got a peice of 50mm square pipe (free from the local engineering shop as an end peice), cut it to size (having a metal bandsaw helps with the cutting) and welded it to the top of the original mounts. Before welding I measured up 40mm (that was my lift height) and predrilled the holes for the bar. Cost nothing apart from my time.
