gday, just wondering whats behind the little plate/cover on the engine side of the fuel pump for a 1hz
it appears to be having a bit of a leak from around this particular spot
would this be a possible sign its time to do up my fuel pump possibly?
any thoughts or suggestions on this matter would be greatly appreciated & any recommendations where to have the work done in brisbane

thanx in advance

Been there, done that...

It's just the pump's top cover seals that start leaking, easy and cheap to fix, just get yourself a new top cover seal kit (rubber seal and a couple orings) and replace them... no need to remove the pump, just the top cover.

PS. thats if you are mechanicaly minded. ;) otherwise off you go to a diesel specialist (ouch)

thanks for your input udm, but sorry bloke your not even close
if it was the top cover seal i imagine it would be fairly evident
its definately comin from around that little plate with two small bolts holding it on, which is like i say on the engine side of the fuel pump, but at bottom the of the pump facing the engine, if that makes it any clearer

sorry for any confusion about this topic, it is my problem i just happen to post it on my mates computer, under his username (didnt realize until after)
needless to say i'm still open to any recommendations of where to go
i've got a couple of places in mind, but wanna get your opinions also
